A year ago this weekend is when we lost a sweet little friend of ours, Emme. Even though it has been a year and Julia is only 3 she has still not forgotten her first best friend. A song on my blog called "Angels in the Room" was playing a few days ago and Julia (whom I didn't even know was listening) looked up from her toy and said "Emme loves this song". I said "She does?" and she simply said "Yes, she sings it" and went back to playing. Julia still asks the same questions every week or so which includes: "Emme is with God?" she will say in a question tone. She also remembers "Emme's stomach all better now" and "God loves Emme and is taking care of her." We all miss Emme and continue to pray for her family.
