Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 13th wedding anniversary! Today 13 years ago we had just eloped. I had to work, but Michael didn't so he was running all over Ashville telling everybody. What a Day!

Genesis 2:18 "And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."

Genesis 2:23 "And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Mark "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."

Ephesians 5:22-24 to the wives "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing"

Ephesians 5:25-29 to the husbands "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church."

I thank God for Michael and being allowed to enjoy marriage with him...one of the many blessings God has bestowed upon me while on His earth.
